16. Are there additional scholarships available?
Yes! All UM students who are accepted into the Maryland-in-Berlin program have the option to apply for a Maryland-in-Berlin partial scholarship. Scholarship applications are due on May 1. Decisions are made based on need and merit. You must have a FAFSA on file in order to apply.
You may also apply to other scholarships, such as the DAAD Scholarships for Study in Germany. More information is available on the Study Abroad Office website.

17. How do I apply? The application for the Berlin program is available on the Study Abroad website at www.umd.edu/studyabroad. You need to submit all materials to the Study Abroad Office by the March 31 deadline in order to be considered.
